In North Carolina, patients have direct access to physical therapy services without a physician’s referral. This means you can begin treatment with us at your convenience.

4.  How long are the appointments?

Both initial evaluations and follow-up treatment sessions are approximately 60 minutes long, allowing ample time for thorough assessment and personalized care.

5. Do you accept insurance?

Morningside Physical Therapy & Wellness is a non-participating provider with any insurance, However, we can provide detailed receipts (superbills) that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, depending on your plan’s out-of-network benefits.

6.  Can I use my HSA or FSA for payment?

Yes, we accept Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards for payment.

7.  What is cash-based (self-pay) physical therapy? 

In a non-participating practice (cash-based model), patients pay directly at the time of service without involving insurance companies. (Basically, we work for you instead of working for insurance)

This approach allows for personalized care tailored to your specific needs and goals, free from the constraints often imposed by insurance providers. Payments can be made using cash, check, credit/debit cards, or HSA/FSA cards.
